In this thesis ,we take the same-explanationed words of The Explanation of Words to analyse the phenomena of the synonyms and the non-synonyms,the same-sourced relation of the former and the classification of the latter. Our discussion is centred on the analysis of the same-sourced relation of the synonyms and the same-explanationed words from five point of views of such words' tones. Based on the thinking of Professor WangLi's On the same-sourced word,we judge the reasonable transference of the tones of synonym and the same-explanational words secondly.we divide the non-synonyms and varying explanational words into two kinds:types subordinate to categories two-syllabled single-morpheme word as description of a thing,furthermore,we also divide the former into two kinds to make a simple standardization of such same-explanationed words. At the end of this thesis is a appendix of the synonyms and the explanational words in The Explanation of Words,as a reading reference.
