Wang XiangQi is the representive poet of the Han-Wei Six Dynasties poem trend. Utilitarianism is prevailing in the modern Parnassus. His cognition about the internal constitution of poem is the embodiment of aesthetic pursuit of modern poets. So,despite that he is once viewed as an unfashionable and even reactive poet ,Wang's poetics is sober and unique. His poem ontology is just the main stream of my thesis. His poem and poetics are examined under the background of the tranformation from tradition to the modern.Part one discusses Wang's cognition about the internal constituion, which is the theoretical source of Wang's poem opinion.Part two demonstrades Wang's "back to the ancients" poem point of view and the impression of his poem ontology on "back to the ancients".Part three analyzes the deviation between his poem theory and poem ,from the angle of Wang's epic. The last part illuminates objectively the theoretical value and shortcoming of Wang's poem ontology.
