History epistemology is the new theoretical issue of historical materialism at the current time. It has the three principles of the independence, subjectivity and self-performance. It restricts the subject choosing the cognitive aims, effects the subject to sort and reconstruct the information of the object so as to make a reasonable explanation of the influence the subject has on the object through the cognitive diagram and perception construction system. Historians try to know the history essence by the medium of history object, but the history construction of many-dimensional perception makes the history cognition subjective from process to result, however, the historians' cognitive process doesn't lack the hard core of the objectivity.The truthfulness of the so-called history cognition is the correct reflection of the law of the objective history. The permeation of the corpus makes the truth of the history cognition subjective from form to content. The permeation of the corpus of the history cognition and the non-repetition of historical phenomenon bring challenges to the test of the truthfulness of history cognition, which is not because the truthfulness of history cognition can't be tested but because the uniqueness of history cognition makes it only realized in the social reality.The permeation of the corpus doesn't make the history course lose the qualifications of scientificity. The characteristics of science such as objectivity, regularity, and truthfulness also exist in the history course, but it can't be understood mechanically. At the same time, we think the establishment of the science of history still needs to be tested and proved epistemologically in the corpus of the cognition corpus and the relationship between the subject and the object.
