| The care theory was proposed in the mid-period of 1980s.The main representative is Nel Noddings. It was paid much more attention from the end of 1980s to the beginning of 1990s and has been gradually playing roles in western world. Up to now, her monographs of care theory have been translated into five kinds of languages and introduced into different countries so that it has become the powerful theory in western educational theory. Noddings' care theory is a sort of educational thoughts under the international situations, whose theme is "how to educate students to learn to care". On this issue, the constructive propositions are provided for the reform in educational field. My paper mainly analyzes the care theory of Noddings from the angle of moral education according to ideas and theory of Marxism with various kinds of research methods such as document study, comparative study, analytic study and so on, and it will play roles for our countries' moral education reform.It is divided into five parts:Preface: the meaning of the research; the present conditions and the methods of the research; brief introduction of Nel Noddings; the definition of "care" and "moral education".The first part: the backgrounds and theoretic foundation, the former includes global, America's and American school's backgrounds; the latter includes existentialism philosophy, humanism psychology and feminism ethics of care.The second part: the mam ideas of Noddings care theory, which is analyzed from seven aspects such as the position and purpose of moral education, the content of moral education, the relationship between teachers and students, teacher education, the components of moral education, the systems of school and the institutions for implement.The third part: the analysis of the features of Noddings' care theory and contemplations on school moral education of China. By using the ideasand theory of Marxism, I objectively analyze Noddings' care theory and point out its five characteristics: humanism feature, feminism feature, affective feature, feature of life, feature of era. On this base, I think about school moral education in China and provide some suggestions for school moral education in our country.The end: summarizing the whole paper and pointing out the aspects needed to be further researched. |
