| According to the data of the seventh national census,in 2021,China’s elderly population over 60 years old will account for 18.7% of China’s total population, and by 2050,this number will reach nearly 1/3,and deep aging is one of the major problems that China will face.At the same time, with the steady growth of residents’ income, the gradual disintegration of the family pension system based on the extended family, and the change of the ideological concepts and living habits of the elderly, institutional pension has become more and more a good choice. However,at present,China’s institutional pension model still has the bottom book, late start, backward concept, management level to be improved and other issues, with the rapid development of China’s economic level, the demand for old-age care services for the elderly has not only stayed in the simple and rude "false care",more in the deep "real care",but due to the past customary practices and conceptual understanding of the error, resulting in China’s institutional pension in the care ethics there are many problems.Nottings care ethics put forward a new interpretation of care,Nottings believes that the caregiver and the cared for are two equal existences, and the usual sense of the understanding of the subject and object, from the top and bottom of the care is not the same, the real care is the real need of the caring person, which provides a good reference for us to correctly understand and solve the care ethics of institutional care. The emotional, practical and relational connotations and characteristics of The Nottings care ethics,as well as the principles of humanism, moderation and respect, are in line with the needs of the elderly in institutional care. From the Nottings care ethics to china’s institutional old-age care ethics,it can be found that the existing problems are mainly contrary to the principle of humanism and ignoring the spiritual comfort of the service object;violating the principle of respect, nursing, care, medical treatment, and sending and operating machinery;violating the principle of equality and reciprocity, ignoring equality with the service object;violating the emotional principle, lack of love for the service object;violating the principle of moderation, there is excessive "care".The reason for these problems is that there are misunderstandings of care and its nature of care;the interests of institutional operators are paramount, and they lack meticulous care for service recipients;the quality of employees is uneven, and the ability to care needs to be improved;and the non-standardized development of rural old-age care institutions.Nottings care ethics provides inspiration for us to solve the ethical problems of institutional care in China, and the service of old-age institutions should change the concept from the principle of care: institutional old-age care at home, enhance the sense of family belonging;institutional old-age quality, provide humanized services;institutional elderly-centered humanization, strengthen the concept of the elderly.Employees of elderly care institutions should follow the ethics of care in providing services: cultivate moral feelings and build a good care environment;learn empathy and strengthen care for the elderly;understand the nature of care, and do effective care in work. The state creates a "caring" old-age environment: strengthen the government’s management and guidance role in institutional old-age care;solve the contradiction between supply and demand of institutional old-age care services;and strive for the regularization and specialization of employees in old-age institutions. With the advent of the deep aging society, how to improve the elderly’s pension life has been an unavoidable problem, this article takes The Nottings care ethics as the starting point to study the problem of old-age care in China’s contemporary institutions, which is conducive to building a "caring" old-age society and improving the quality of old-age life of the elderly. |
