This article talks about the milestone significance of Madame Eleen Zhang in the modern history of woman literature from the spontaneous woman literature in the May Fourth Movement to conscious woman literature. The significance lies in her effort towards the cool inspection and deep contemplation from fanaticism in the Awakening period, and toward the construction of the implicit subject of woman. The methodology of this article is a combination of the theories of Western feminism literature criticism and analysis of the characters of Chinese literature and history. The article also outlines a brief history of Chinese feminism literature.This article, furthermore, demonstrates that Madame Zhang`s sense of woman is mature, that means, she transcend the mentality of two sexes as opposites, and abandons the narrow sense of division of sexes. The author tries to illustrate that Madame Zhang studies human beings`(especially woman`s) living conditions in the patriarchal culture ,using the sense of sextranscendence including but transcending the sense of sexes.The author calls on the establishment of healthy feminism culture, good for the growth of humanity. The article analyses the deepness and uniqueness of Madame Zhang`s sense of woman in her works, as well as her own methods of dealing tragedy.
