This essay investigated the inter relationship among literati, geisha and Yuan Drama on the basis of placing literati and geisha into a special period梇uan Dynasty, for they were the two essential parts of creation and performance. Furthermore, literati and geisha not only shaped the art, but also shaped their own personal spirits.The essay consists of three parts:First part: Cultural Origin of Literati and GeishaSince both of them were related to the traditional cultural art, there was another relationship implied between them and culture art.Second part: The Inter relationship among the Three ObjectsOn one hand, since geisha prossessed the inherent ability of singing and dancing, they occupied the stage of Yuan Dynasty. On the other hand, the appearance of abundant works of the drama was caused by the current of that time. Furthermore, the new type of art was a suited style for literati to voice the emotions and feelings. With the connection of the drama, literati and geisha formed a new relationship.Third part:The Influence of the Relationship among the Three Objects on the DramaThe artistic traits in special historical period could be investigated from the creative works. The equality, tinctural interaction and beautified idea of the relationship between literati and geisha were expressed to be commonage, refined and popular tastes and exceeding of self-inferior.
