The Advocates Poetic Thought

Chen Zilong,the protagonist in the paper, was a chief writer of Yunjian group who advocated poetic renaissance after 揝even Authors? Under the powerful influence thought liberty and literary enlightenment in Ming Dynasty, renaissance groups resume their prosperity after a long-time depression, which merits our consideration. There are many phrases in Chcn抯 anthologies relating to his views on poetry and prose, from which we can get a glimpse of his renaissance ideal.In this paper, we analyze his concrete poetic points by remarking on Chen抯 poetic criticisms and take out the core from his renaissance thought. Then we try to find out the contributing cause of his poetic ideas. We will discuss them in the following three aspects: his background, his thought and his classic aesthetic judgment.There has been some research about Chen抯 poetic criticisms and their causes both here and abroad. But the arguments are usually too simple or obsolete.
