Contemporary "new High-tech America Building" Emotional Characteristics And Design Techniques

Real architecture is not only machine for habitation, but also container of feelings. As the lacing between art and people, feeling became the precondition of their resonance. Only those architecture which can express feelings can be regarded as art.As a result, the neo-high-tech architecture, which came into being from the 1980', has been widely welcomed because of its thinking much of the expression of feelings as well as new technology and new material .According to the theory of contemporary aesthetics, this dissertation concluded the feels of neo-high-tech architecture as three parts: apperceive feeling, imagine feeling and comprehend feeling. Apperception , imagination and comprehension are the access to aesthetic feelings as well as the levels architects should approach.Analysising the characteristics and design methods of each feeling levels, this dissertation aims at reviewing the success and defects in the high-tech aesthetics , trying to sum up the common laws of architecture art.
