Holdingthe view that such dispute stems from misunderstanding, this author aims atreproducing the authentic features of the shaping ideas of the "ink play" masters.Through analysis of some classical "ink play" works, with extremely simple formoutside is found to be enrich with brilliant and rich content inside. Meanwhile, it isdiscovered that "ink play"-the special form of traditional Chinese ink and washpainting - embodies most intensively the shaping ideas of traditional Chinesepainting.
