Recognizing The Efficiency Theory

As far as the problem of thought and existence concerned, Marxism believes that the unity of the two items lies in social practice. From the author's point of view, this is only a stipulation of quality, which lacks the assurance of quantity. To study on cognitive efficiency is a breakthrough to solve this problem. Under the guidance of Marxism cognition theory, the author puts forward her own idea on the basis of three questions, namely, what is the cognitive efficiency, wh~,?is the people's cognitive efficiency different and how to improve the people's cognitive efficiency. The thesis consists of four parts as follows: Part one, the raise-up of the problem of the cognitive efficiency. Illustrates the significance and urgency to study the problem of cognitive efficiency from two aspects: one is the developing logic of the cognition history; the other is the requirement of realistic practice. Part two, the definition and essence of the cognitive efficiency. From the angle of quality, cognitive efficiency is the ratio of the cognitive outcome and the investment; from the angle of quantity, it is a dynamic alignment. As a definition concerning the extent and speed of the unity between thought and existence, cognitive efficiency is, in essence, a sort of value relation. Part three, an analysis of the factors restricting the cognitive efficiency. The cognitive efficiency is restricted by many factors in which the most fundamental ones are the cognitive subject, the cognitive object and the cognitive medium. In addition, a management and adjustment system also takes effect. All of them form a whole system, which restricts the people's cognitive efficiency. The concrete restriction of each factor is analyzed in the view of Marxism and with the integration of practice and theory. Part four, the patterns and ways to improve the cognitive efficiency. Although people's cognitive efficiency is restricted by many factors, the subject's nature of surpassing makes its improvement possible. Theree two modes to improve the cognitive efficiency: economical mode and increasing mode. And the author also puts forward a main channel to improve the cognitive efficiency from the aspects of the cognitive subject and society on the basis of the analysis of the restriction factors.
