Civic culture found its own way in such prosperous city, developed quickly, and produced more and more art forms and activities. Civic culture was loved by citizens and became popular culture as the result of people's praise.In this period, civic culture was not only a kind of arts, but also a way of life, because it integrated into ordinary people's lives and was connected with native customs. The civic culture in Hangzhou of Southern Song Dynasty reflected the urban cultural form of ancient Hangzhou, and was an important part of culture in Song Dynasty.
