The Gaoling Ren Village Yuncheng Dialect Island Voice

Renhuo Village is located in the Luwan Town, Gaoling County, Xi'an City. They are more then 800 villagers in this village. The ancestors of villagers are from Yuncheng County, Shandong Province. It is a typical island of Shandong dialect. It has a hundred and twenty years of history so far.Through my careful field work and analysis, I recorded and researched the phonetic of Renhuo dialect carefully, summarized the characteristics of phonology, revealed the laws of tone sandi and neutral tone from the synchronic view. This process provides basic materials for the research of Shandong dialect islands in the Guanzhong area, lay a foundation for comparative study of differert dialects. Meanwhile, from the diachoronic view, by comparing with the Gaoling dialect and its source dialect. I researched the laws of phonetic changes in the Renhuo dialect island thoroughly, analysised reasons for this change and trends of Renhuo dialect island.Renhuo dialect island has been a hundred years from its source dialect. Gaoling dialect and Mandarin have different impact on it in this process. So, this is very important to research on Shandong dialect islands of Guanzhong area.This article includes six parts:prologue, phonology, the homophony syllabary of Renhuo dialect island, features of phonetic change, development trends.
