Song Before China's Southern Xinjiang Ancient City Of The Distribution And Morphology Of A Preliminary Study

This dissertation limits the researching period before Song Dynasty, and limits the space to the south part of Xinjiang. Also, the researching object is the cities and castles. In this paper, I will inspect the geographical distribution and the form of the cities and castles totally. Firstly, at the beginning of the dissertation, I discuss the history and the geography of the south part of Xinjiang. Then I analyze the four-dimension distribution and the scale and the form of the cities and castles in order to get more distributing and forming rules of the cities and the castles. When discussing the distribution of the cities and castles, the paper is divided the south part of Xinjiang into seven parts, and discuss the features of the geographical distribution one by one according to every period. When arguing the various changes of scale and the form of the cities and the castles, 3 types: the big cities, the small and medium-size cities, and the castles are put up in the paper. Then research their structure. In the last part of the paper, the conclusion of the reason why the cities and castles were abandoned will have a realistic significance of the south part of Xinjiang.
