In the mid-late of the 20th century, the continuous growth of national economy in many developed countries and regions, as well as the steady improvement of the citizens consumption standard made the cultural industry begin to transfer from capacity direction type gradually to amusement consumption type. The animation industry is one of the very important parts of the cultural industry. As to the great powers of the animation industry which represented by the United States and Japan, the production value of the animation industry occupied extremely significant portion in their GDP. And they expanded the manufacture links of the animation industrial to Asia nations. Therefore, the animation industrial has become a kind of industry with global scale.Since the beginning of the 1980s, the cultural control in Taiwan was lifted totally. As the undertaking point of American and Japanese animation industry, Taiwans animation industry has went through a pattern from being OEM mainly to original producer. It has developed more than 50 years, and has rich experience in exploration. On the other hand, the animation industry in Mainland China has developed more than 30 years. The accession to the WTO has made the cultural industry developed more quickly. In the newly "1025" planning, the cultural industry has become one of the national economic backbone industries. Under the promotion of a series of positive policies, the animation industry in Mainland China is facing a exciting prospect.Mainland China and Taiwan have the same culture, and the development of their animation industries follow the similar path. This paper wants to research the veins of the animation industrial chains, the factors that affect the animation industrial development, the supporting policies to the animation industry, and the effects of the cluster of animation industry. Therefore, we can compare the developments of both sides, and get some experiences and lessons from them. In the end, the research will help us to promote the healthy development of our animation industrial. |
