As a small class of time adverbs,continuative adverbs of time has been studied early by research ers,however it was seldom studied from chinese study. There is little study on the errors of continuative adverbs of time made by students from TCFL.However,students are required to master the adverbs by Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus.In the pratical teaching,we found that errors of continuative adverbs of time was quite commonly made by students.Therefore,we hold that continuative adverbs of time is necessary to be researched deeply and carefully,which is not only meaningful for theory study,but also helpful for teaching practice.In the dissertation, taking the six adverbs(hai,hai shi,reng,reng ran,reng jia,yi ran,yi jiu)in Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus as research object,it's found that the defination of continuative adverbs of time is not clear in recent kinds of dictionaries. The problem about the defination of continuative adverbs of time is related to insuficient theory study.we made some premature proposals in order to draw academic attention.Meanwhile,we have gathered some errors about continuative adverbs of time in HSK Dynamic Articles Corpus,and given some teaching suggestions by errors analysis of causes and patterns.It's dissussed in this paper through five parts:The first part is introduction including the cause and meaning of selecting the subject,object and scope of study,recent research,the new ideas in this paper and marks explanation.The second part is the chinese study about continuative adverbs of time in TCFL.We listed the defections of studying the six time adverbs with continuative meaning,and trying to give the connotation and denotation to the continuative adverbs of time and distinguish some this class adverbs which can be substituded by each other.The third part is about the errors made by students in learning continue adverbs of time.In this part,through the statistics and analysis of the errors in HSK Dynamic Articles Corpus,we concluded the features of the errors which are divided into three patterns,namely misuse,omission,and misadd.In misuse part,we respecdtively distingushed'hai,hai shi,reng jiu' with some words which are similar to the three adverbs in meaning or form.And in the other two parts,we not only described and analyzed several patterns of omission and misadd,but also explained the basic meathods for avoiding the errors.The fourth part is explanation about the cause of errors and proposals of teaching.The reasons of the errors mainly have four aspects,such as insufficient aim-language knowledge,language disturbing of mother language,misleading of some dictionaries and some teacher's explaining methods in class,ect.After the dissussing about the cause,some teaching suggestions were proposed including to keep good order from the simple to the complicated in teaching,emphasize comparison in words teaching,and compare chinese and foreign language carefully,ect.The fifth part is conclusion summarized the dissertation and pointed out the problems.
