Subjective well-being is one of the most important psychological paramenters which reflects people's life quality. And in nowerdays it is a hot spot in positive psychology fields. As an unusual group, there're few reports about police's subjective well-being in China, and there're even fewer reports about the relationship among police's subjective well-being, self-esteem and social support. Therefore, this research has tried to study police subjective well-being in China and to explore the relationship among police's subjective well-being, self-esteem and social support.In this study, we used the GWBS scale, the SESS scale and the social support scale revised by Xiao Shuiyuan for police in Henan district. By analysis and discussion, the result shows:1,The subjective well-being of police in Henan district is at a high level, although they have difference in the aspect of gender, marriage, age and educational background. On the whole, the subjective well-being of police in Henan district is higher than civilians.2,The subjective well-being sense of police and social support manifest significant positive correlation. The more social support, the higher subjective well-being. So as the relationship between police's self-esteem and subjective well-being.3,Self-esteem has partly mediating effect between subjective well-being and social support, and the mediating influence is significant. |
