They considered their own life cradles and life bases as the resources to express the understanding towards the traditional culture, then explored the literary roots and inspired the creative vitality of the contemporary literature.The "Roots" literature opened up the brand-new creative field of the modem and contemporary Chinese literature and made them leap into a higher level. Of course "Roots" literature itself existed the inevitable time limitation, and as a kind of literary trend, the bright that it afforde to the contemporary Chinese literary history was also short. But "Roots" literature in literature thought and artistic pursuits had times change meaning. It made the contemporary literature enter into the stage of development, and brought the continuing and far-reaching influence to contemporary Chinese literature.
