According to context theory and the meaning of the words, the paper researches on the context in word teaching when teaching Chinese as a second Language. The paper introduced linguistic context and situational context and cultural to word teaching, Enable students to more easily understand and grasp the meaning and usage of words.The paper discusses how to make the three kinds context to the specific meaning teaching. First, make specific classification of context, then the paper analyzes the specific meaning of word and meaning for which context, then explain the context in correcting errors of word, such as the grammatical meaning and lexical,how to correcting with the context.at last, how to make the context into the word practice.the last chapter of the paper based on the last two chapters, context into all kinds words teaching case.
