Stable angina pectoris is a symptom complex caused by abrupt and transient myocardial ischemia and hypoxia due to an increase in myocardial oxygen demand which occurs on the ground of coronary artery sclerosis. It is a frequently occurring disease that is commonly seen in cardiovascular system. It is a disease with high risk of Acute Myocardial Infarction and sudden death which affects people's life quality seriously. The angina pectoris of coronary disease belongs to the category"chest bi-syndrome"in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Professor Zhang Ming Xue has dedicated herself to the clinical teaching, medical treatment and scientific research for many years. She also integrates the past dynasties doctor's contribution with her clinical practice to treat stable angina pectoris with traditional Chinese medicine effectively. Professor Zhang's view is that the pathogenesis of this disease includes several reasons,the primal reason is the weakened YANG QI,and the secondary reasons are Qi stagnation, turbid phlegm,and blood stasis tangling together.So the disease is inseparable and hard to heal. She takes the method of regulating Qi-flowing for eliminating phlegm and eliminating stasis and has achieved a very good therapeutic effect. She pharmacological studies of modern medicine,and she uses traditional Chinese medicine for treatment of self.Coronary heart disease is often accompanied by hypertension,diabetes,hyperlipidemia,And it has risk factors, including obesity, smoking and family history .So it should also be used to actively deal with the appropriate drugs.In addition to medical treatment, instructors particular emphasis on coronary patients with self-nursing education.She urged patients recuperating the spirit of maintaining a good mood, avoid mood swings; attention to daily life, suitable for cold temperature;salt in the diet should be light and not too full to eat more foods rich in vitamins and fruit, to maintain patency of stool, appropriate physical actively. Those are preventing their sickness's recrudescence and worsening.
