Purpose: Through bone marrow suppression after the mice were given Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid hematopoietic peripheral blood and bone marrow examination and discussion of Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid on leukopenia mice bone marrow suppression effectsMethods: Application of chemotherapeutic drug cyclophosphamide (cyclophosphamide, CY) intraperitoneal injection of bone marrow suppression model, and the normal group and drug groups were to do comparison, dynamic time sampling and sampling the same time the combination of experimental methods of Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid as indicators of mice, bone marrow cell proliferation, bone marrow granulocyte - macrophage progenitors (CFU-GM) colony and related cytokines CFSs, interleukin-l (IL-l), interleukin -2 ( IL-2) production capacity such as the role and impact of the regulation.Results:Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid can increase the number of peripheral white blood cells of mice (P <0.05). Cyclophosphamide in mice bone marrow cells significantly inhibited. After the injection of cyclophosphamide in the first 4 days, the model group mice bone marrow cell proliferation decreased 60.2% compared with the normal group, while the Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid group of mice bone marrow cell proliferation compared with control group decreased 41.7%. Later, the model group, the ability of bone marrow cells slowly increased, but less than the Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid group of mice. Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid can also promote bone marrow granulocyte - macrophage progenitor cells (CFU-GM) colony formation (P <0.05). In addition, Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid can improve the spleen conditioned medium (SCM) and lung conditioned medium (LCM) in the colony-stimulating factor activity of CSFs. 4 days after injection of cyclophosphamide, model group mice SCM and LCM in the CSFs of activity than the normal group decreased by 72.9% and 85.6%, while Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid groups of mice SCM and LCM declined only in the activity of CSFs 52.5% and 69%, indicating that cyclophosphamide has reduced macrophage secretion of IL-1 capacity and spleen cells secrete IL-2's ability to prove that Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid can reduce the toxic side effects of cyclophosphamide and promoting IL - 1 and IL-2 production.Conclusion: Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid can effectively increase the peripheral white blood cells, nucleated cells of bone marrow activity, promote bone marrow granulocyte - macrophage progenitors (CFU-GM) colony formation and colony stimulating factors CSFs, IL-1 and IL-2 production and functions, involved in start hematopoietic stem / progenitor cell activation process and to stimulate bone marrow cell proliferation and differentiation, and thus ease the CY induced bone marrow suppression, to antagonize the purpose of bone marrow suppression. Our results for the treatment of hematopoietic function of the lower class of Rehmannia and Rhodiola liquid provides a theoretical basis for the disease and its clinical application has laid a solid experimental basis...
