Background:Bronchial asthma is short for asthma, that is the most common chronic childhood respiratory diseases. Asthma is chronic airway inflammation with the participation by a variety of cell that especially mast cells,eosinophils and T lymphocytes be involved in, caused by airway hyper-responsiveness, resulting in reversible obstructive airway disease. Adopt glucocorticoid andĪ²2 receptor excited pharmaceutical suck, come, control asthma jointly more at being at present clinical, but curative effect is not yet very satisfied. The recurring rate of the difficult curing asthma is still very high. In recent years, along with the changing of medicine pattern, more and more researchers realized that drug therapy is not the only way to improve children's asthma through the massive experiments and clinical researches. Many data also proved that the psychological problems may induce or aggravate asthma. The psychological intervention therapy is a psychology concept,it helped the people to cure the wound after disaster and so on, and then, it used in medicine until many researchers realized that the occurrence, development and switcher of asthma was related with the biology, psychology and social factor. According to many data, this therapy has positive effect on controlling the symptom of the children with asthma.Purpose:This research uses the Meta-analysis method on the effect of psychology intervenes to asthma, to providing the treatment effect of intervene and the mentality for the clinical methods.Method:The data source in Meta-analysis using Review Manager4.2 of this research came from the following databases: VIP, CNKI(http://www.enki.net) and wanfangdata (http://www.wanfangdata.com.cn). Through typing keywords(keywords: children with asthma, psychological intervention, behavioral and psychological problems, clinical affection),retrieval published in 1980-2010 in major journals, reading titles and full text to the election of the literature into treatment. There were only 12 studies met the inclusion criteria.Results:The forest plot of the Meta-analysis of this study suggest that intervene group is more efficient than treatment group, OR=5.10 (95%CI,3.59-7.26)>0, rhombus lie in right side of perpendicular line. The funnel plot suggests that the publication bias in the 12 studies is very high. The result of the sensitiveness points out OR (fixed) 95% CI: 6.86 [4.47, 10.52]. It is still proving that intervene group is more effective than treatment group.Conclusion:The clinical effect, psychology intervention group was more effective than those of the regular medication group to the children with asthma.
