Objective:Epidemiological survey methods used, the incidence of functional dyspepsia in Singapore regional population risk factors, age, sex, occupation, habits, etc. with the objective of the epidemiological investigation of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome.Understand the Singapore region through the study of functional dyspepsia (FD) in the etiology and morbidity; same analysis revealed that Singapore's regional functional dyspepsia and the epidemiological characteristics of TCM syndromes, for the establishment of the Singapore region FD TCM diagnostic criteria and evaluation standards based. And hope that this study will be the Singapore of Chinese medical treatment of functional dyspepsia to provide a disease prevention and treatment ideas.Methods:The study will be under the guidance of the basic theory of Chinese medicine, in accordance with evidence-based medicine and the principles of epidemiology, with out-patient questionnaire, the multi-faceted area of Singapore meet the diagnostic criteria of FD patients were investigated. The study by consulting on the fullness of TCM literature and modern classical cause and pathogenesis and therapy literature, and clinical symptoms and objective Chinese indicators were systematically reviewed and summarized. Collected a total of 200 cases of functional dyspepsia patients with clinical data, and finally the data were statistically analyzed and concluded. Epidemiological studies:(1).200 patients were age and sex distribution between the various age groups was statistically significant difference (P<0.01); (2). Pathogenesis and cultural background difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); (3). morbidity and lifestyle differences were statistically significant compared (P <0.01); (4). pathogenesis and environmental factors are statistically significant differences (P<0.01); (5). disease-induced factors and the difference was significant (P<0.05).2. Syndrome research:(1).200 distribution of syndrome patients showed no significant difference (P> 0.05); (2). Clinical symptoms of functional dyspepsia with epigastric fullness distribution, belching, mouth hard, dry mouth, tired body fatigue, epigastric dull pain, limb tired body weight as the highest frequency of occurrence, followed by 92%,69%,66%,61%,55%,52%; (3). distribution of cold and heat syndromes mixed type accounted for 10.5%,2.5%type diet Ji Zhi, phlegm resistance-type 12.5%, incoordination between liver and 33.00%,33.00% type spleen and stomach, stomach yin deficiency type 8.5%; (4). of different gender and medicine Syndromes of the difference was significant (P<0.05); Diet Preference of different syndromes distribution with significantly (P<0.05).1. Conclusion:Age, sex and the pathogenesis of functional dyspepsia.2. Functional dyspepsia syndrome distribution and sex, addicted to the food side.3. Main symptoms of functional dyspepsia as epigastric fullness, belching, mouth pain, dry mouth, tired body fatigue, epigastric dull pain.4. Functional dyspepsia to disharmony of liver and spleen and stomach with evidence-based evidence.5. Functional dyspepsia incentives and related syndromes.
