Study Of The New Rural Cooperative Medical System

The traditional rural cooperative medical treatment system has benefited most of Chinese peasants. As the disorganization of the country collective economy and the construction of the market system, the traditional rural cooperative medical treatment system declined, lots of peasants became the self-pay people and lost any protection. The situations that put into poverty and go back poverty because of diseases became worse and worse. In order to change this kind of situation, the new rural cooperative medical treatment system was induced in Cixi, Zhejiang in 2003.The new rural cooperative medical treatment system has made great achievement after a few years and solved the problem of expensive medical treatment and improved the healthy problem of the peasants. The system was welcomed by more and more peasants. But during the processing of the pilot implementation, the new rural cooperative medical treatment system also exposed many problems, and should be consummated through innovation in the further works. On the basic of investigation, this paper analyses these problems. Afterwards the paper puts forward several countermeasures to realize a sustainable development.The contents of this paper include the following parts:The preface introduced the reason of studying the new rural cooperative medical treatment system of the author, then expressed the meaning of studying this task, reviewed the studies of this field. The chapter two introduced the basic situation of the new rural cooperative medical treatment system. It expressed the concept,characteristics,basic principles,basic system and so on. The chapter three introduced the processing situations of the new rural cooperative medical treatment system in Cixi, Zhejiang. The chapter four analyzed the problems exposed during the processing of the new rural cooperative medical treatment system. These problems include three aspects:the demanding,the supporting and the government. The chapter five gave four advices at the base of the analysis.
