[Objective]To investigate the prevalence of early-kidney damage and risk factors in hypertensive-residents in Shanghai,one of the greatest Chinese metropolis.Then the recommendations have been put forward to improve early-kidney damage based on this investigation as well as document review.[Methods]Stratified cluster sampling method was employed for this research.4 communities among 23 communities in Da Hua area,Baoshan Direction of Shanghai were selected according to living and economical conditions.With information of official household registration and communities' population record,and after related training, community doctors from Da Chang community health service center made a questionnaire survey among hypertensive-residents in these communities.Survey data was put into SPSS data base,and analyzed by using frequency analysis,T test, single-factor analysis,multi-regression,and other statistical analysis.[Results]Six hundred and fifty-four hypertensive-residents were interviewed and tested.The survey results showed that the prevalence of early-kidney damage in hypertensive-residents was 24.8%,among them 29.1%for man and 22.4%for woman.The prevalence of reduced renal function in hypertensive-residents was 14.8%,among theml3.0%for man and 18.5%for woman.Factors affecting MAU included LDL-C,BMI,Ur,smoking and standard of hypertension.Factors affecting GFR only included LDL-C,age and BMI.Multi-factor analysis indicate that hyper-LDL-C,hyper-BMI and the time of desease were independently associated with albuminuria.hyper-LDL-C and hyper-BMI were the risk factors of reduced renal function in hypertensive-residents.druges was good to renal function.[Conclusion]The prevalence and risk factors of early-kidney damage in hypertensive-residents was 24.8%,similar to those of developed countries.the prevalence of reduced renal function in hypertensive-residents was 14.8%.We ought to test and cure in hypertensive-residents in time.
