Study On Spleen Deficiency Syndrome And Diabetes

He has rich experience for curing diabetes.During the course of studying knowledge of clinical medicine at policlinic from him,I found many diabetic have few symptoms of polydipsia,polyphagia,diuresis and becoming thin.On the contrary,the symptoms of deficiency of spleen are emblematical,and this can be crue by using drugs of strengthening the spleen.On the basis of clarification in physiological and pathological characters of spleen, after the reference of ancient and modern bibliography, this dissertation thoroughly discussed the importance of spleen deficiency in the pathogenesis of XiaoKe, and proposed that spleen deficiency is a very important pathogenesis in diabetes mellitus,tonifying qi and strengthening the spleen is a main treatment principle in the treatment of DM.If the spleen deficiency,it cannot sent body fluid upwaed to lung,then we become polydipsia;if the spleen cannot supply body fluid for stomach,the stomach cannot be moisten,then we become polyphagia;the spleen lose the ascending function,water-damp can not be converted,and the nutrients of food anf drink abouchement into piss,then we become diuresis and glucosuria;the spleen isregarded as "the origin of the acquired constitution",if the spleen deficiency,the body can't be sustained,we becoming thiner,fatigue,weariness.So we should attach impotance to the treatment principle of tonifying qi and strengthening the spleen in the treatment of DM and use it widespread.
