The Impact Of The Pill On The Reproductive Function Of Male Cyclophosphamide In Rats

Objective:To explore the effect and mechanism of the Jinkui Shenqi Pill on the genetic function of male SD rats with CTX.Method:Divide the 40 male SD rats,which are averagely 15 months old, into four groups randomly:model group,treated group with low dosage Jinkui Shenqi Pill,treated group with middle dosage,treated group with high dosage,Each group has 10 rats.Each group were injected into the the abdominal cavity with Cyclophosphamide(1ml/kg·d^-1) for 5 continuous days:the model group were Garaged with NS for 28 continuous days and the high,the middle,the low dosage group were Garaged with Jinkui Shenqi Pill suspl of the high,the middle,the low dosage for 28 continuous days. Every time,we observed the changes of rats in the activities and mental status.At last,we killed the rats of each group in 24 hours,and calculated the weight of the testicle and epididymis,observed the density and motility rate of the Epididymal fluid,and observed the microstructure of the testicle under optical microscope with image analysis system,measured the Serum testosterone.Result:Due to the Cyclophosphamide,the rats would lose weight,decrease activities and become slowness.Its pelage would become yellow and parch blight,Its tail would become clammy,the Cyclophosphamide would replicate the "deficiency and reproductive dysfunction" mode.The Jinkui Shenqi Pill would improve the symptoms mentioned above.Compare with the model group,the density and motility rate of sperm of the other rats,the concentration of testosterone,the number of the tubules and the Leydig cells increased significantly.Conclusion:Cyclophosphamide could replicate the SD rats "deficiency and reproductive dysfunction" mode.Jinkui Shenqi Pill could raise the concentration of serumal testosterone,increase the weight of the testicle and epididymis of the rats and also increase the number of the tubules and the Leydig cells,so Jinkui shenqi pill that can be effectively antagonistic cyclophosphamide on the SD rats reproductive toxicity,to protect their reproductive function.
