Objective To investagate the risk factors of ectopic pregnancy and reveal the cause of the increasing incidence.Methods 218 patients with ectopic pregnancy in our hospital from 2004 to 2007 were collected, The information collected for every patient included sociodemographic characteristics; gynecologic, obstetric, and abdominal surgical history;prior induced abortion;genital infectious history; history of ectopic pregnancy ; contractive history (including oral contraceptive, intrauterine device and emergency contraception) are analysised and compared by Excel.Results The relative ratio of risk factors in EP was genital infectious history 37. 61%, induced abortion 79. 82%, delivery history 36. 24%, abdominal surgical history 29. 82%, prior use of intrauterine device 33. 03%, ectopic pregnancy 8. 72%, and emergency contraception 22. 48%. No excess risk of ectopic pregnancy was associated with multiple previous induced abortions compared with one previous induced abortion(P>0. 05).Conclusion The risk factors that have a possible correlation with ectopic prgnancy, such as history of pelvic inflammatory disease, prior induced abortion, prior tubal surgical, previouse ectopic pregnancy, previous use of an interuterine device section history, emergency contraception et al. |
