Treatment Of Irritable Bowel Syndrome Comparative Study Of Prescription Regulation Of Gastrointestinal Function

Objective:To discuss the characteristics of Zheng types and compatible rules of Chinese medicinal compound formulae concerning the treatment of IBS.Observing the effects of Tongxieyaofang(TXYF),Sinisan(SNS),Yigongsan(YGS) and Baishu Fuling decoction(BSFL)on the rats model of Spleen—Qi deficiency and Liver—Qi depression Syndrome(SQDLQD).Methods:(1) The method of integration of literature research:385 pieces of formulae involved in the treatments of IBS were collected according to the Journal of Traditional Medicine in recent 10 years.Setting up data graphs with EXCEL.Using Chinese medicine compound formulae analytic softwares joint created between Chengdu University of T.C.M and Southwest Jiaotong University to deal with relevant materials by statistic functions of datum frequence.(2)experimental research:Established restraint wrap stress SQDLQD-IBS rats model.Methods Enzyme-linked immenosorbent assay(ELISA) was adoptd to observe the levels of substance P (SP) and cyclic ade noslne monophosphate(cAMP);Methods Rabioimmunity method was taken to observe the level of Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide(VIP) in Plasma and intestinal tissues, 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) and Acetylcholinesterase(AchE)were observed by biochemical process:The contents of nitrogen monoxide(NO) were detected with acid isoxidation and Coomassie Brilliant Blue.Results:(1) The method of integration of literature research: According to the frequency,the top 5 syndromic classifications include model of spleen deficiency and depression of liverenergy,depression of liver-energy and spleen deficiency, spleen deficiency and liver hyperactivity,spleenqi deficiency (SQD),Spleen-kidney Yang Deficiency.The basic and plus were Tongxieyaofang(TXYF),Sinisan(SNS),Sijunzidecoction(SJZ),Sis henwan(SSW)andBanxiaxiexin decoction(BXXX).Top 5 2-combined drugsincludeBaishu-Baishao,Baoshao-chenpi,Baishao-fangfeng, Chenpi-Fangfeng and Baishu-Chenpi.(2) experimental research:we examinated the residual rate of stomach emptying,intestinal propulsion,the result showed TXYF,SNS,YGS AND BSFL all lowed down the rate.The level of SP,5-HT,AchE,cAMP and VIP of model group had rised,which had statistic significance compared with blank group.After the treatment,the level had fallen down,especially the middle dose model group of TXYF.The level of SP decreased to some extend after treatment especially the middle dose of TXYF(P＜0.01),meanwhile the middle dose of SNS and BSFL also had statistic significance(P＜0.05);The level of VIP in intestinal tissues had fallen down after the treatment of the middle dose of TXYF(P＜0.05).The middle dose of TXYF also lowed down the level of 5-HT(P＜0.01) comparing with the effects of the middle dose of SNS and BSFL(P＜0.05).The level of cAMP lowed by the middle dose of TXYF(P＜0.01) and the middle dose of SNS (P＜0.05).The middle dose of SNS lowed down the level of NO(P＜0.05).The middle dose of TXYF lowed down the level of AchE(P＜0.05).Conclusions:The most common symptom is depression of liver-energy and asthenia of spleen.The most common basic formulae is TXYF.Comparing with the different influences on the regulation of gastrointestinal motility,Gastrointestinal Hormone,Neurotransmitter,TXYF showed the best result.The mechanism may connected with the regualting effects which can regulate qi activity of spleen and stomach and balancing the disperse of liver-qi.
