In Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Before And After The Tcm Syndrome Variation

PurposeUsing prospective method,we make research on the TCM syndrome of 100 advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients between before and after the chemotherapy,which is guided by the theory of TCM and western medicine.We hope that we can discover some rules.MethodsEpidemiological studies the use of forward-looking approach to observe 100 in-patients of NSCLC in guang' anmen hospital from April,2008 to March, 2009.Collected symptoms and classified syndromes by"the questionnaire of prospective study on syndrome distribution of primary non-small cell lung cancer patients".By the research on the TCM syndrome and tracing its change among before, the 7th and the 14th day after chemotherapy,we try to find some rules.Results1 The main syndrome of advanced NSCLC include qi deficiency and phlegm heat,qi deficiency and blood stasis,qi deficiency,blood stasis and phlegm dampness, deficiency of both the qi and yin,qi stagnation and blood stasis,qi deficiency and phlegm dampness.Their proportion are separately 24 percent,20 percent,14 percent, 12 percent,14 percent,and 16 percent of the whole.2 The distribution of syndromes are not relevant to clinical pathology patterns,stages. Scale cancer mainly belong to qi deficiency and phlegm heat,and mainly belong to Adenocarcinoma qi deficiency and blood stasis.3 Before chemotherapy,the main TCM syndromes are qi deficiency and phlegm heat, qi deficiency and blood stasis.After the chemotherapy,qi deficiency and phlegm heat,deficiency of both the qi and yin decrease,but qi deficiency and blood stasis,qi stagnation and blood stasis increase.Did not change significantly are qi deficiency,blood stasis and phlegm dampness,qi deficiency and phlegm dampness. Conclusion1 The deficiency of qi,blood stasis,phlegm dampness,phlegm heat,qi stagnation, deficiency of yin,deficiency of yang are the basic factors of the 100patients.They all belong to the excessive and the deficiency syndrome,of which qi deficiency and phlegm heat,qi deficiency and blood stasis are the most.2 The change before and after chemotherapy,and the symptoms of every point may give some advice on the TCM intervene during chemotherapy.To some extent,they can reflect the quality of chemotherapy medicine indirectly.From now on,we could increase the numbers of the sample and do more research on the basis of this one.
