From the point of Document Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM in short), this thesis is a nearly completely conclusion of the contents about the famous ophthalmologically book in TCM Yanke Longmu Lun, which was formed in the Period of Song-Yuan Dynasty in China. The contents include the components of the Book, the traits, the editions conserved, the mainly problems needing to be studied urgently and the results that students had studied. This thesis also involves the more important aspects relating to the Book, such as the differentiation between Long Shu and Long Mu, the formulae belonging to the Book, which was edited in book Puji Fang produced in Ming Dynasty, the origin of Seventy-Two Patterns ophthalmologically in TCM, many other TCM books in ophthalmology which was formed influenced by the Book, and more properly discussing the status of the Book in history and its values at the present age. In conclusion, this thesis has strongly proved its status and important scientifically influences in the developing course of ophthalmologically in TCM.
