Objective:This randomized control,single-blind trial evaluates clinical curative effect of Acupuncture Therapy for chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS) PLC,mainly according to measuring scale recommended by the United States Centers for Disease Control(CDC).Methods:Under the1994 CFS diagnostic criteria raised by United States Centers for Disease Control(CDC),whose age,gender and basic illness are on the same level,randomly assigned to and control group,.Ten times electro-acupuncture treatments will be applied to treatment group on bilateral BL23 and ST 36,while to control group on the points,one cun lateral to bilateral BL 23 and ST36.The degree of fatigue and associated symptoms of CFS of evaluated by FSS,SF-36,SPHERE,MPQ and SAQ,before treatment,after treatment and follow-up visits after one month and three month.All scales were used to measure the RSR test,Student't test and X~2test.Results:Treated group was more efficient than control ones.Statics on the treated compared with the control group ater treatment,as well as the majority of follwing one month and three month showed signicant difference (P<0.05).Conolusion:The degree of fatigue and associated symptoms of CFS patients have been significantly reduced to some extent,that is to say clinical effect of electro-acupuncture to CFS is significant.
