Liu Wei Di Huang Wan Concurrent Homocysteine ​​hyperlipidemia Blood Lipids In Early Diabetic Nephropathy

Objective To observe the effects of the liuweidihuangwan on plasma lipids' Level in SD rats with early diabetic nephropathy and hyperhomocysteine.Methods There were 10 cases of normal adult male SD rats and the other 70 cases with early DN induced by streptozotocin(STZ) and one-sided nephrectomy.The 70 cases of DN rats were randomly divided into 7 groups:early DN,mold,Gliquidone,low dosage of liuwei dihuang wan,middle dosage of liuwei dihuang wan,high dosage of liuwei dihuang wan,(n=10each).Hyperhomocysteinenia was induced by giving diet with high DL-Alanine.All the rats were given the different treatments associated with their group.Three months later,the level of plasma homocysteine,blood sugar,LDL-C,HDL-C,TC,TG were examined.Results The HDL-C's level of three different dosages of Liuwei Dihuang Wan was found significantly higher than model control(p＜0.05).The LDL-C's level and the TG's level of three different dosages of Liuwei Dihuang Wan were found significantly lower than model control(p＜0.05).The TC's level of three different dosages of Liuwei Dihuang Wan were found similar to model control(p＞0.05).Conclusion The Liuwei Dihuang Wan is able to reduce the plasma lipids' level of rat with early DN and HHcy.And the effect may be related to the dosages of the Liuwei Dihuang Wan.
