| Bronchiolitis is a kind of infections of respiratory tract specially in infants below 2-year-old, its characteristic is cough complicated with asthma. Traditional Chinese medical science has brought it into the category of pneumonic cough and asthma with the treatment principle of ventilating the lungs. Professor Feng Xiaochun has obtained better effect on bronchiolitis during recent years of the clinical study. On the basis of summing-up her experience in drug application and under her careful guidance, in this paper the Jie Jing Ding Chuan Zhi Xiao Soup was used clinically for treatment of 40 cases of children with bronchiolitis through wheezing, and Xiao Er Ke Chuan Ling granules for 40 cases as control group. The results showed that the treating group efficiency of using Jie Jing Ding Chuan Zhi Xiao Soup is 95.0%, while the efficiency of the control group was 85.0%, there was significant difference between two groups (p<0.05), this suggests that Jie Jing Ding Chuan Zhi Xiao Soup is an effective prescription with the characteristics of fast effect, stable and reliable curative effect in treating bronchiolitis. |
