Autogenous tooth transplantation,or autotransplantation,is the surgical movement of a tooth from one location in the mouth to another in the same individual.Although autotransplantation has not been established as a traditional means of replacing a missing tooth and the success is effected by many factors, many studies clearly demonstrate that autotransplantation of teeth is a reasonable treatment alternative to conventional prosthetic rehabilitation or implant treatment in cases of partial edentulism from both a therapeutic and an economic point of view.In our research,we established the autotransplantation animal model with recipient sockets 2.0 mm wider than the donor teeth in mesial and distal. Then we compared the differences between regenerous tissue group and bone substitute group 3 months after operation. From our study,we found proliferating tissues may promote the regeneration of periodontal tissues and prevent root resorption.Sinbone HT is beneficial for the survival of transplanted teeth, but the exact effectiveness to the regeneration of periodontal tissues calls for advanced research. The results of this present study were expected to provide more foundation datas to clinical study.
