Different Point Group Experimental Research Related Indicators Of Simple Obesity Rats

Objective:To observe the different regulative effects by electro-acupuncture different points(RN12,RN4&SP9,ST40&ST36,ST44)on obese rats,investigate the best points by acupuncture treatment on obesity .Methods:48 SD rats were randomly divided into 2 groups with 8 rats in blank control group 40 rats in model group. Rats in the blank control group were fed with basic diet everyday, while the rest groups were fed with high fat diet everyday. After six weeks, the successful model rats were randomly divided into 4 groups with 8 rats in each group: model group, electro-acupuncture group1, electro-acupuncture group2 and electro-acupuncture group3. The rats in electric acupuncture groups were treated with 2/100Hz,10min,one time per day,2mA while the rats in blank control group and model group were treated at the same time, with no acupuncture. After 10 days'treatment all the rats were killed to draw the materials.Result:1. the effect of electro-acupuncture on the weight of the obese rats: After 10days of treatment, the average weiht of the blank control group and the other fat groups had obviously difference(P<0.05).There were no obviously difference between the model group and the electro-acupuncture groups(P>0.05),but the numerical values of the electro-acupuncture groups were lower.2. the effect of electro-acupuncture on the leptin both in the blood and thalamencephalon of the obese rats: The average numerical value of leptin in the blood of the blank control group and the other fat groups had obviously difference(P<0.001). The average numerical value of leptin in the blood of the model group and the other electro-acupuncture had obviously difference(P<0.05). There were no obviously difference among the three electro-acupuncture groups(P>0.05). The numerical value electro-acupuncture groups were close to the blank control group, especially the electro-acupuncture group3. The average numerical value of leptin in the thalamencephalon of the blank control group and the other fat groups had obviously difference(P<0.05). There were no obviously difference among the three electro-acupuncture groups and the model group(P>0.05). The numerical value electro-acupuncture groups were close to the blank control group, especially the electro-acupuncture group3. There were no obviously difference among in the five groups on the ratio of leptin in the thalamencephalon and blood (P>0.05),but the numerical value of model group was lower.3.the effect of electro-acupuncture on the BS,TC,TG in blood serum of the obese rats:There were obviously differences between the model group and the other four groups on the blood sugar,there were no obviously differences between the blank control group and the electro-acupuncture groups .the numerical values of the electro-acupuncture group1 was close to the blank control group. There were no obviously difference among in the five groups on the tricylglycerol, the numerical values of the electro-acupuncture groups were lower than the model group,(P>0.05),but the numerical value of model group was lower,especially the electro-acupuncture group3 was close to the blank control group. There were no obviously difference among in the five groups on the total cholestertol, the numerical value of the model group was higher than the other four groups, (P>0.05), especially the electro-acupuncture group1 was close to the blank control group. There were no obviously difference among in the five groups on the total lipoprotein(P>0.05).4.the effect of electro-acupuncture on the fattiness around the kidney and the spermary of the obese rats: There were no obviously difference among in the five groups on the fattiness(P>0.05), the numerical value of the model group was higher than the other four groups, the electro-acupuncture group3 was close to the blank control group.Conclusion:1.According to the results of the rise of the weight ,acupuncture do have effect on restraining the rise of the weight .2.To observe the level of the leptin both in blood and hypothalamus and the effect of acupuncture ,this experimentation reveals that there are hypsi- leptin-emia in the obese rats. Acupuncture could degrade the level of the leptin in both periphery and centre. The ratios of leptin in the thalamencephalon and blood were close to the blank control group.3. Acupuncture do have effect on reducing the level of the BS .4.We could analyse the pathogeny and the type of syndrome of the obesity farther, there are deficiency of spleen and stagnation of phlegm,stomach heat and stagant fire and deficiency of spleen and kidey, etc.
