Objective:Salvia injection and evaluation of the compound betamethasone treatment of knee osteoarthritis of the clinical efficacy and safety of,for osteoarthritis of the knee treatment to find a safe,effective and economic ways.Method:According to exclude cases into the standards and criteria,from October 2006 to December 2007,the choice of 80 cases of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee,in an open,fair,the principle of random,the average divided into treatment and control groups,treatment Salvia patients intravenous injection,the compound was also supported by betamethasone knee cavity injection,the control group with only intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate.All cases were selected to register basic information,after the treatment system,which have a strict and regular follow-up review,with the final statistical analysis and comparison of two different treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee efficacy and safety.Results:The treatment of both osteoarthritis of the knee has obvious effects,treatment group,the total efficiency of 77.38 percent,while the control group the total efficiency of 72.54,the total efficiency of the two groups showed no significant difference(P＞0.05).Two groups of patients after treatment symptoms and signs of significant improvement,compared with the treatment there were significant differences(P＜0.01),between the two groups after treatment and rest pain,activities of pain,joint tenderness,joint swelling,joint activities of a significant difference(P＜0.05).Treatment and control groups of drug safety is 0.573 and 0.549 respectively, the two groups showed no significant difference(P＞0.1).Two cases of drug are faster onset time,treatment and control groups were 13.32±3.72 and 13.98±3.38 days,the two groups showed no significant difference(P＞0.05).The treatment group mild, moderate and severe treatment of the total efficiency followed by 85.7%,87.5%and 88.9%,mild and severe,moderate and severe effects of a very significant difference (P＜0.01);mild and Moderate effects of no significant difference(P＞0.05),conditions that affect the degree of efficacy.Case in accordance with the early treatment group, mid-and late clinical stage,followed by an efficient treatment of 87.5%,92.4%and 83.3%,the effects of different clinical stage no significant difference(P＞0.05),that the effect of clinical stage No impact.In clinical observation,the treatment group four cases of patients with medication after dizziness,syncope tendencies,without special treatment can ease their own;three cases of patients with symptoms of a low heat; three cases of patients with different degrees of anorexia,nausea,vomiting;In the treatment of patients after a period of time consciously weak and sluggish,through diet adjustments that have noticeably improved.All the patients are carried out on liver and kidney function of inspection,after the administration are no obvious function of the liver and kidney abnormalities.Conclusion:Salvia injection and the compound was betamethasone treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee,and the use of sodium hyaluronate alone compared to a drug safety,the treatment is very close,can significantly improve the patient's symptoms and signs.However,the former relatively low cost of treatment,it is worth clinical application.In view of this group the number of cases slightly less,to reflect the results of the accuracy and comprehensiveness,there are still some limitations.
