Chinese Medicine Enema Clinical Research, The Treatment Of Malignant Intestinal Obstruction

This subject uses retrospect study method to research the patients with MBO, who are not suitable for, or cannot tolerant or unwilling to accept operation and take measure of conservative treatment. In this research we use Chinese medicine enema to treat MBO, observe pre-and post symptoms, physical sign and abdominal X-Ray, abdominal CT or B-ultrasonic, and research its clinical efficacy.Results: Complete remission:38 cases(38.78%);improvement:45 cases (15.31%);general efficiency 84.69% ; ineffective 15 cases (15.31%),all being incomplete obstruction.After the treatment of Chinese medicine enema , the time of anus exhaust is between 3 hours and 70 hours. Complete intestinal obstruction patients: complete remission 1 cases ,improvement 11 cases, ineffection 11 case,efficient rate 52.17%. Incomplete intestinal obstruction patients: complete remission 37 cases ,improvement 34 cases, ineffection 4 case,efficient rate 94.67%.Conclusion:1. Using Chinese medicine enema to treat MBO effects significantly, which can reduce obstruction symptoms, improve survival quality easily, especially doing good to adhesive intestinal obstruction and bowel obstruction directly caused by tumors. While to MBO caused by radioactivity enteritis, it seems not so effective, in that they can choose other theropy.2. Chinese medicine enema operates conveniently, have no trauma,no toxic or side effect, belonging to green therapy,almost suitable for all the patients with MBO, especially the aged ones who are too weak to surgery or cannot tolerance operation.3. Taking measures of Chinese medicine enema to treat MBO cost little (compared operation treatment), and save much expense.4. It is relaxed for the patients to choose Chinese medicine enema to treat MBO. In this way the patients avoid enduring heavy mental and physical pressure.5. The treatment of Chinese medicine enema not only helps to rescission local obstruction, but also by intestinal mucosa absorption it can play a role of conditioning the whole body.Also,after kayoxing Chinese medicine with anticancer effects,it can inhabit the growth of tumors and enhance efficacy.In words,to use traditional Chinese medicine enema to treat MBO, not only effects significantly, but also has no toxic or side effect. Chinese medicine enema is suitable for the cancers that are not suitable for or cannot tolerant or not acceptance operation treatment and take measure of conservative treatment, especially does good to adhesive intestinal obstruction and bowel obstruction directly caused by tumors. It is a good"green therapy"which is worth popularizing.
