Clinical Observation on Qingrejiangzhuofang Treatment of Obesity, Type 2 DiabetesObjective:Diabetes is a chronic and complex disease, harmful to human health。It is major public health problem in society to actively carry out the prevention and control of diabetes. Obesity is "common soil", for type 2 diabetes, abnormal blood lipids, hypertension, coronary heart disease and many other diseases. My tutor has been working in this field for nearly two decades. My tutor, professor Tong thinks: Obese type 2 diabetes belongs to Chinese medicine, "Dan spleen" areas. The core of the Pathogenesis is fullness in the middle-jiao , and inner heat. The stagnation of middle-jiao makes the qi stagnation. The stagnation of liver qi cause the spleen stasis, which may cause the heat. Fluid imbalance, subtle substance not reformed normally, cause fat accumulation. Qingrejiangzhuofang can lose weight. Weight loss is one of important factors of lowering glucose level. Subject to the observation of clinical efficacy qingrejiangzhuofang treatment of obese type 2 diabetes.Mehods: A random group, the positive drug (metformin), parallel-controlled, multi-center clinical research programmes, observation test with 205 cases, qingrejiangzhuofang group 84 cases, 86 cases of metformin group, treat for 12 weeks. Observing body mass index (BMI ), waist circumference, body weight, blood lipid (CHO TG), fasting blood glucose (FBG), 2 hours postprandial hyperglycemia (P2BG) and their changes.Results: The body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, fasting and postprandial two hour blood glucose, blood lipids of 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks and before treatment, the difference was significant (P <0.05). Comparison of the two indicators margin, the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05).
