Shanxi Province Normal Adult Co-apdi Values ​​and The Measurement And Analysis Of The Odi, And The Region Of An Adult Cephalometric Measurements Craniofacial The Floating Value Of The Establishment

Objectives One purpose of this study was to measure OPDI value and ODI value of Shanxi province so that we can diagnose the malocclusion of Shanxi province and provide a base for useness of MEAW technology. Another purpose of this study was to provide cephalometric floating norms for evaluation of individual skeletal patterns of Shanxi province through selecting 5 targets of X-ray cephalometric of vertical direction and horizontal direction in common use and using multiple linear regresson' method, and illustrate its using method.Methods The data were derived from systematically collected people with normal permanent occlusion who did not receive orthodontic therapy in Shanxi province. There were 83 normal permanent occlusions,including 38 males and 45 females(ranged from 18 to 30).1. OPDI and ODI of every case were measured and compared with the OPDI and ODI of the white and the people of BeiJing. 2.The angles of SNA, SNB, NL-NSL, ML-NSL, NSBa of every case were measured. All the values were analized by multiple regression,and then an Individual Cephalometric Analysis on Craniofacial Pattern for Shanxi province were established.Results 1. OPDI value and ODI value of different races and different regions are different. 2. All correlations between the five variables are significant ,and SNB had the highest strength of correlation with the others. 3.The cephalometric floting norms for the assessment of craniofacial pattern in Shanxi province permanent occlusions were obtained with SNB as the independent variable and other four variables as the dependent variables.Conclusions 1. Before we dignose the malocclusion and use MEAW technology,we must estsblish APDI value and ODI value of this race and this region . 2. An easy practical procedure allows identification of individual harmonious cranioficial patterns or anomalous deviations from the individual norm for adults who need tooth rectified of ShanXi province,especially for the patient who may need orthognathic surgery in their treatment planing.
