Different Origin Of Liaoning Schisandra Quality Analysis

Frucyus Schisandrae chinensis naphtha is the dried ripe fruit of Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.)Bai11. (Magnoliaceae). It is warm in nature, sour and sweet to the taste and attributes to the lung, heart and kidney channels. It has the functions of astringing, replenishing qi and producing body fluids, tonifying kidney and carming the mind. It can be indicated for chronic cough and asthenic dyspnea, nocturnal emission, spermatorrhea, enuresis, frequent-micturition, chronic diarrhea, spontaneous sweating, night sweating, thirst due to fluids consuming, diabetes due to endogenous heat, palpitation and insomnia, etc.This paper mainly deals with macroscopical identification, microscopical identification, thin Layer chromatography, content determination and HPLC fingerprint of Frucyus Schisandrae chinensis naphtha of different origin in Liaoning.Through orthogonal design, we obtained the optimum extracting techonology of volatile oil in this drug as follows: adding 5 folds of water, extracting for 5 hours after 1 hour of soaking.The content of schizandrin was determined through HPLC and the result showed that the contents of schizandrin in this drug of different origin in Liaoning were all greater than 0.40 percent, which of Xinbin was the highest.Using schizandrin as index, we established the HPLC fingerprint of this drug of different origin in Liaoning.
