OBJECTIVE Observe what kind of influence will occur to the bloodand bone around the protrudent lumbar vertebra to which I give amedical massage. Approach the principle of the treatment of lumbarintervertebral disc herniation with manipulation.METHOD In my research, I chose rabbits as samples of whom male andfemale ones equal in number. I divided samples into three groups,that is, group of rabbits receiving medical massage treatment, groupof disease models and group of common rabbits, and there were tenrabbits in each group. As for disease models, I adopted the way ofmaking models created by Jiang Weizhuang, and the models were treatedafter their wound mostly recovered seven days later. At the same time,I gave a medical massage to the rabbits in the treatment group. Imainly massaged the points of Yaojiaji with a medium degree. Everyrabbit would receive this kind of massage for eight to ten minutesonce a day. I checked the recovering condition at the 1, 7, 14,28 day respectively. Till the thirtieth day, disease models wouldbe killed for the sake of checking the condition of the blood andtone around the protrudent lumbar vertebra. I would compare thecondition with that of samples in common rabbits group. The datawould be analyzed through Sibiaogequeqiegailvfa and t text.RESULT Through the result of obversing the index, the restore ofextremitas interrior to be paralyzed of the treatment group is betterthan the control group of rabbits in gait. The viscosity of bloodaround the protrudent lumbar vertebra improved obviously. Thestructure of skeletal muscle under the light microscope andelectronmicroscope recoveryed obviously.CONCLUSION The energy and balance of lumbar vertebra can be restored.Consequently, medical massage may-exert an obvious improvement uponthe disease of lumbar vertebra, for example, it can improve thecondition of blood flowing, relieve the engorgement oedema of spinalnerve, and promote the recovering of nerval fibre as well as theParalyzed lower limbs of disease models.
