| Obective:To investigate the effect of Traditional Chinese Medcine "Yi Kang Kang" on simlar type 2 diabetic rats and the GLUT4 Gene expression in its Skeletal Muscles.Method:Simlar type 2 diabetic rats were made by intraperitoneally administered STZ in rats and fed with forage of high heat quantity.After the herbs,rats were randomly divided into 3 groups (normal group,model group,treating group).Metformin and Rosigilitazone were administered orally for 4 weeks in rats .The body weight,fasting blood glucose (FBG),fasting insuolin(Fins),blood fat of all rats were measured and the expression of GLUT4 were determinated.Results:Traditional Chinese Medcine "Yi Kang Kang"could not only reduce the simlar type 2 diabetic rats's FBG,body fat and Fins but also increase the GLUT4 gene expression in its Skeletal Muscles,thereby it improved insulin sensitivity of peritheral tissue.Conclusion:Traditional Chinese Medcine "Yi Kang Kang"can ameliorate diabetic IR condition of the model rats and its mechanism is related to its effect of inhancing the genic expressional level of GLUT4. |
