Object: By detecting the transcription level of IL-1β mRNA and IL-1RtI mRNA, as well as the expression level of VEGF, figuring out the ratio between the liver and mouse weight, also the ratio between the spleen and mouse weight, to comprehend how the Ligustrazine influenced on the physiological function.Method: The pregnant mice were treated intragastrically with Ligustrazine (0.4mg/d, 2mg/d, 10mg/d) for 3 days from the first day of pregnancy. The control group was treated with saline. At the third day, the tissue we needed was removed. With RT-PCR, we detected the change of the transcription level of IL-1β mRNA and IL-1RtI mRNA. We also detected the expression level of VEGF with histochemistry.Result: The result showed that after perfusing Ligustrazine, the transcription level of IL-1 β mRNA in pregnancy mice was reduced in endometrium and embryo, but there was no changes in IL-1RtI mRNA. The expression level of VEGF was inhibited by Ligustrazine The ratio between liver and mouse weight had significant differences among the control, 0.4mg/d, 2mg/d. Ligustrazine had no effect on the ratio between the spleen and mouse weight.Conclusion: Ligustrazin can reduce the transcription level of IL-1 β mRNA, but have no influence on IL-1RtI mRNA. The expression level of VEGF were also reduced. Ligustrazin can influence the ratio between liver and mouse weight to some extend, but have no effect on the ratio between the spleen and mouse weight.
