| Wiry pulse was the common pulse tracings of hypertensive disease. Using pulse map acquisition system and symptom questionnaire we got pulse maps and symptoms, and then combined them. At last, we got the characteristics of pulse map in primary hypertension population and its correlation with symptoms.According to the criterion of wiry pulse, 390 cases of study populations were divided into wiry pulse group and non wiry pulse group. Thus survey the appearance of wiry pulse in primary hypertension and the variation of pulse map parametric in different group. Through the symptom questionnaire we observed the occurrence frequency of symptoms in different groups. And checked the syndrome's laying by doing factor analysis. The results were as follows:1. The laying of wiry pulse mapThe females' incidence rate of wiry pulse map was significant stepping up after 45 years old, but slightly descent after 60. The incidence rate of wiry pulse of normotensive was higher than dysarteriotony.2. The variation of pulse map parametric in different groupThe comparison results of hypertensive disease between wiry pulse map and without wiry pulse map groups: (1) In sex, Net PeakArea, S~*/D~*,T1/T,T2/T,T3/T,P2/PP were higher in males, MAP were higher in females. (2) In age, Net Peak Area, P2/PP were higher in more than 45 years old population, MAP was higher in less than 45 years old population.(3) In different blood pressure, MAP was higher in dysarteriotony.3 The variation of symptoms occurrence frequency in different groupsThe comparison results of symptom frequency in different groups of hypertensive disease with wiry pulse map: (1) In sex, dizziness, palpitation, insomnia and dreaminess, irritable, tantrum, chilly, cold limbs, burning sensation of five centers, feeling cold of waist/legs and abdomen, bitter taste of mouth, dry eyes, swelling eyelid in morning, edema of lower limbs, fatigue, hate talk were more frequency in females. (2) In age, irritable, edema of lower limbs and nocturnal were more frequency in more than 45 years old people. (3) In course of disease, irritable, edema of lower limbs and nocturnal were more frequency in those whose course of disease was more than 10 years. (4) In blood pressure, when people were lower than 45 years old, sweat was more frequency in dysarteriotony group than in normal group, and when people were more than 45, headache and fullness of eyes were more frequency in normal blood pressure group, but the symptom of fatigue was more frequency in normal blood pressure group.The comparison results of hypertensive disease with wiry pulse map group and without wiry pulse map group: (1) Overall, hate talk was more frequency in the group of wiry pulse map than in the without wiry pulse map. (2) Comparison of same gender, tantrum was more frequency in males without wiry pulse map; dizziness, feeling cold of waist/legs and abdomen, hate talk and shapeless of stool were more frequency in females with wiry pulse map. (3) Comparison of same age, when people were less than 45, irritable, like cold drink and food were more frequency in group with wiry pulse map. (4) Comparison of same blood pressure, hate talk was more frequency in normal blood pressure group with wiry pulse map.4. The correlation of wiry pulse map and symptoms in hypertensive disease populationThe OR value of gender and difficult recovery after catching cold were 2.02 and 1.972, which means wiry pulse map was more frequency in males with hypertensive disease.5. The symptoms factor analysis of hypertensive disease and the difference of principle-factor and syndromes between the wiry pulse map and non-wiry pulse map groupsThe 10 principle-factors got and their symptoms were: F1: head distention, dizziness, and headache. F2: chill, cold waist and belly, cold limbs. F3: intolerance of heat, preference to cold food, flushing face of angry. F4: manic personality, irritability, burning sensation of five centers. F5: fatigue, unwilling talking, difficult recovery after catching cold. F6: age, palpitation, noctufia. F7: eyes swell, bitter taste of mouth, dry eye. F8: swelling eyelid at morning, edema of lower limbs. F9: apt to diarrhea, stool not taking shape. F10: tinnitus. As F10 indicators were too small, it's difficult to establish its syndrome from a single symptom, so deleted. The following 4 syndromes were combined by above remaining 9 principle-factors, that is, syndrome of cold: F2, syndrome of heat: F3, syndrome of deficiency: F5,F6,F8,F9,syndromeofexcess:F1,F4,F7.F6,F8 was more frequency in group with wiry pulse map.There were statistical significance of principle-factor and syndromes between the deficiency and excess syndrome. The deficiency was more frequency in group with wiry pulse map, the excess deficiency is on the contrary.6 The characteristic of pulse map parameter in different syndromes of hypertensive disease.S~*/D~* were increased higher in the syndrome of cold group than in the deficiency. P3/PP was increased higher in the syndrome of deficientcy group than in the excess. P3/PP was increased higher in the syndrome of deficientcy group than in the heat. There weren't statistical significance between other groups.Conclusion:1 The incidence of wiry pulse map in menopause female had the higher tendency.2 Though the hypertension patients had been controlled normal blood pressure level after taking anti-hypotensive drugs, the incidence of wiry pulse map wasn't decreased, even become increasing.3 The hypertensive with wiry pulse map was apt to the syndromes of Qi deficiency if they were female, the old age, longer course of disease and normal blood pressure, whichindicate that the blood pressure controlled to the normal level can't improve the symptom of TCM syndromes.4 The male hypertensive was apt to the appearance of wiry pulse map if they were difficult to recovery after catching cold.5 The high peripheral resistance was more significant in the syndrome of deficiency group than in the heat syndrome group and the excess syndrome group. The results indicated the relationship between some pulse map parameters and the syndromes of hypertension disease. |
