Intestinal Capsule On The Local Vascular Lesions In Ulcerative Colitis And Evaluation Of Clinical Efficacy

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect and the influence to vasculopathy and vascular growth factor on capsule ChangAn (CCA)which can invigorate the spleen to benefit the lung and eliminate phlegm to resist diarrhea with astringents to treat ulcerative colitis (UC). Methods: Sixty ulcerative colitis cases were divided into two group randomly, 30 cases in treatment group cured by the capsule ChangAn and western medicine, 30 cases in control group, using western medicine.Six months was regarded as one course , and after one course to compare the clinical curative effect And to observe the influence on vasculopathy and vascular growth factor(VEGF,PDGF, C0X-2). Results: A great deal of literature showed that the traditional Chinese medicine (T.C.M)therapy was eutherapeutic for UC.But its principle of treatment was limited to some extent. So to study the diagnosis and treatment rule of UC on the basis of traditional method was very necessary,which was helpful to perfect the diagnosis and treatment systerm of UC;The clinical studies showed that CCA could make the clinical symptomsof UC patients improved and accelerate ulcer healed over.Among the 60cases treated with CCA for 6months,the clinical symptoms, the colon ofiberscope appearance and the pathological changes had been improved obviously. The effective ratios were 90.00%, 96.70% respectively, and they were signficantly higher than that of the control,the pill BUPIYICHANG(BPYCP) (P<0.05) The studies also indicated CCA could adjust human immunity action,which made many cell mediated immunity and humoral immunity signs better. Conclusion: Draw off one of the consequence mechanism of UC is Lung-QI disharmony and Blockage of the intestine by phlegm-dampness. CCA could make the clinical symptomsof UC patients improved and recovering blood vessel.Vascular growth factor could be one of thecurative targets of UC.
