Object:The paper systematically reviews and analyzes causes, pathological changes of hyperlipemia, and research progress of hypertension according to principle of determination of treatment based on the differentiation of symptoms and modern medicine. Then to study the relativity between hyperlipemia types based on syndrome differentiation in T.C.M and their hypertension indexes. Method:1.To differentiate the syndromes of 300 cases with hyperlipemia in hospital and to divide them into five groups: phlegm-stagnation-syndrome, spleen-kidney-yang-deficiency-syndrome, liver-kidney-yin-deficiency-syndrome, yin-deficiency-yan g-supfluity-syndrome, qi and blood-stagnation-syndrome.2.To carry out examinations of eight indexes on Pantcholesterol(TC), High Density lipoprotein(HDL—C), Low Density lipoprotein(LDL-C), Apolipoprotein A, Apolipoprotein B, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure indexes, we analyze and compare with five groups to find out their relativity. Result:In the spleen-kidney-yang-deficiency syndrome group, systolic pressure and diastolic pressure have relativity with TG(P<0.05, P<0.01).In liver-kidney-yin-deficiency syndrome group, systolic pressure have negative relativity with LDL-C, diastolic pressure have negative relativity with LDL-C and APO-A(P<0.05).In yin-deficiency-yang-superfluity syndrome group, systolic pressure have relativity with HDL-C, diastolic pressure have negative relativity with LDL-C.This indicates that there exists certain relativity between hyperlipemia types based on syndrome differentiation in TCM and their hypertension indexes. Conclusion:Hypertension indexes can be one of testing indexes in the objection of syndrome classification by differentiation in T.C.M.
