Multiple tics is a kind of chronic neuro-psychonosema and mainly occured in childhood. There are complications such as behavior, psychal and mental problems. In the text, I discussed MT in different aspects, such as children physiological and pathological characteristics, pathogenesis, pathogenic mechanisms, correlative viscera, Syndrome Differentiation and treatment laws. Indicated that Tender Viscera, Fine Yin_Yang ,Weak Spirit_Qi are basic corporeity and inner factors. According to physiological characteristics of children, hyperactivity of Heart and Liver and weakness of Spleen and Kidney, the main pathologic characteristics are Weak Root and Excessive Pathogens. Chief pathogenic mechanism is Deficiency of Kidney and Hyperactivity of Liver ,Inner Disturbance of Wind and Phlegm. Its clinical manifestations have four characteristics of Wind, Fire, Phlegm and Depressiveness. According to its syndromes, MT can be classified into four types, including Hyperactive Wind due to Excessive Yang, Inner Disturbance of Fire and Phlegm, Liver Stagnation and Spleen Deficiency. And I have a primary discussing on the prescription regulation to each clinical types.In annex part, I introduced one clinical study of Treating 23 cases with method of Nourishing Kidney and Calming Liver, Extinguishing Wind and Resolving Phlegm. Composition of basic prescription are Rehmannia Root ,White Peony Root, Gastrodia Tuber, Hooked Uncaria, Curcuma Root, Earthworm, Scorpion, Batryticated Silkworm. In clinical treatment, I add different herbs with relative clinical types on the basis of the above priscription. Result: prominent effect rare are 17. 39%; efficacy rate are 73.91%; inefficacy rate is 8.70%;total efficacy rate reach 91.30%.Literature and clinical research show that Chinese herbs have relative advantage to west medicines on the treatment of MT, especially...
