| The pathogenic factors and pathogenesis of chronic Hepatitis B is complex. Professor Lu thinks that the pathogenic factors of chronic hepatitis B can be discussed from three aspects. One is the evil which invaded in the body , two is the evil which lurked in interior , the last one is the interacting of the deficiency of vital qi and the evil . "Dampness-heat evil lurk in interior, liver stagnation to blood stasis with the deficiency of the spleen and kidney" are the basic pathogenesis of chronic Hepatitis B .The location of chronic Hepatitis B is at liver, spleen and kidney.First at liver and spleen .Later at liver , spleen and kidney. According to it' s clinic manifestations,Professor Lu divides chronic Hepatitis B into three periods.He thinks the total therapeutic principle of chronic Hepatitis B is strengthening healthy Qi to descend adverse flow of Qi, regulating qi and blood. And pay attention to the deficiency of qi , the maladjustment of qi and blood and the evil lurked in the body. Professor Lu adopts the means of clearing away heat and expelling dampness with nourishing liver, soothing liver and invigorating spleen with nourishing blood, invigorating spleen- yang and kidney-yang with softing liver, enriching yin and kidney to nourish liver, invigoring qi and resolving stasis and softing hardness. In the process of treatment , Professor Lu thinks we should stick to the therapeutic principle of strengthing healthy qi to descend adverse flow of qi. Regulating qi and blood, nourishing liver , spleen or kidney to strengthening healthy qi, and attaches importance to consolidate spleen and stomach; clearing away heat and expelling dampness and evil to descend adverse flow of qi, and pay attention to activating blood and removing the blood stasis.
