Objective To discover the relationship between High-sensitivity C-reactive protein and coronary artery lesion of Metabolic Syndrome patients Methods 227patients who were admitted into peking union hospital because of chest pain and were suspected of coronary heart disease were classified into Metabolic Syndrome and non- Metabolic Syndrome groups .Blood samples for high-sensitivity C-reactive protein were obtained., and Coronary artery angiography were determined after hospitalization. Results In metabolic syndrome group .the number of patients with type B and C coronary stenosis were obviously increased with the increase of serum level of hs-CRP. Especially when the serum level of hs-CRP>3.5mmol/L , Type A 4.5% (1/22). type B+C 95.5% (21/22) .Conclusion For metabolic syndrome patients,hs-CRP is a reliable marker to predict the coronary artery lesion.
